Mr Brent Ogilvie is the Founder and Managing Director of Pacific Channel Limited. Through Pacific Channel activities as a seed investor, Mr. Ogilvie serves as:
Executive Director and Acting Chairman of LiquidStrip, which is developing a continuous filtration system designed to separate biosolids from dairy shed effluent;
Founding director of Androgenix Limited, which is developing a sperm fertility enhancement technology for cattle; and
A dairy technology company which is developing an efficient and low-cost separation of female and male sperm for cows; and
Ecodiesel Limited, a biodiesel company focused initially on the New Zealand market; and
SciTOX Limited, which is commercialising a bio-sensor based toxicity and BOD5 analysis device; and
Breathe Easy Limited, which is developing a therapeutic for cystic fibrosis; and
S1 Limited, which as Somnaceutics successfully developed and sold the intellectual property of a sleep-enhancement tonic and its other business assets to an NZX-listed company.
Mr Ogilvie is also an Advisory board member of ICEAngels, Australasia’s largest group of experienced investors, with over 90 members and founder of its Chinese investor group; and
Trustee of the Urban Eco-living Trust, which teaches New Zealand youth about sustainable living through a mobile-learning centre.
Mr Ogilvie is a former New Zealand Consul & Trade Commissioner to New York – Life Sciences. Former industrial product manager for a global corporation; consultant to New Zealand start-ups.

Through Pacific Channel’s activities as a seed investor, Ms. Purohit serves as a Chief Operating Officer for Breathe Easy Ltd, a biotechnology company that is developing a treatment for Cystic Fibrosis and provides Business Analyst support to LiquidStrip, a company developing a continous filteration system.
Mitali has provided business development and investment assistance to over 10 New Zealand based life sciences and clean technology companies.
Investment Representative on The Lighthouse Platform Sector Engagement Group.
Previously an Investment Representative on the NZBio/ATEED Regional (Auckland) Committee.
Co-founder of NZBIO Young Professionals.
Ms Purohit has experience in assessing investment opportunities and assisting early-stage life-science and engineering-based ventures to become investment ready.
Ms Purohit’s principal interest is in technology commercialization, especially opportunity analysis, marketing and business development.
Her Master’s thesis, which was completed under the commercial supervision of Pacific Channel prior to her employment, investigated ingredient co-branding as a strategy option for a New Zealand supplier of functional ingredients.

Andrea McKenzie is the Special Projects Manager for Pacific Channel Limited. Ms. McKenzie offers significant commercial, marketing¸ human resources, change management experience to the projects that she manages and delivers for Pacific Channel. Ms. McKenzie’s experience includes senior management roles for corporates including BNZ, Woolworths and NZ Post. Ms. McKenzie is a positive and engaging leader, with a strong execution orientation. Her focus on delivering projects to deadline and budget to client and portfolio companies’ expectations, including delivering outstanding customer service to their customers, while building the brand values of Pacific Channel sets her apart.
