Pacific Channel is delighted to announce that Blair Pritchard is joining the company in the role of partner, working alongside Brent Ogilvie.
Blair’s appointment brings significant additional executive capacity and reflects Pacific Channel’s commitment to form, fund and develop world class environmental, material and life sciences from NZ.
Blair, a New Zealander and graduate of Victoria University of Wellington, has been working for Macquarie Group in Sydney where he performed diverse investment roles including founding an early stage environmental investing team and acting as Chief Investment Officer of a multi-million dollar funds management unit.
Pacific Channel intends to leverage Blair’s considerable experience and networks in Australia to expand its capital raising efforts beyond the $1 – $3 million fund raisings achieved to date to support ventures as they grow.
Blair’s skill base will also bolster Pacific Channel’s capabilities in renewable energy and environmentally aligned sectors to access additional resources In Australia.
Brent Ogilvie will continue in his current role with Pacific Channel while also concentrating on technology start-up Footfalls & Heartbeats, which he is leading.
