David is a technology and venture investment leader with deep experience spanning enterprise strategy, corporate venture, deep‑tech commercialisation, and operational scale‑up.
Most recently, he led the Ventures team at 1835i, ANZ Bank’s strategic innovation and investment arm, partnering with emerging fintech companies to drive growth and capability expansion. Previously, David collaborated with Australia’s leading universities as Investment Director at Uniseed, and COO of Smart Sparrow - an education technology company spun out of UNSW and acquired by Pearson. Prior to that, he worked in technology strategy and corporate development at Microsoft, leading the EMEA Strategic and Emerging Business team.
David holds a PhD in Computer Systems Engineering (UTS) and a Master’s in Applied Finance (Macquarie), and brings a strong blend of technical, commercial, and founder‑centric experience to Pacific Channel.
